Yes, it will work fine and it will be safe. It looks like a standard mount.
The most important thing to make the TV safe, is to make sure you attach the mount to wall very securely. It might even be good to have someone do it for you if you are not sure how to do it. It needs to be attached to the wall studs with proper hardware.
