The world’s largest LCD module factory located in Guangzhou

LG Display (Guangzhou) Limited is a global leader in ultra-thin liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) manufacturers – South Korea LG.LCD Corporation invested a total investment of 1.1 billion, has reached 590 million U.S. dollars investment, was officially opened in May 2006 Development Zone, Guangzhou City, the largest over the years since the introduction of high-tech enterprise with foreign investment. The project R & D production of liquid crystal display products and digital TV modules, planning and construction of China’s large-size LCM production, research, service center base, and eventually the formation of the LCD industry cluster, radiation Southeast Asia and European markets.
It is reported that completion of the seven production lines have been put into operation, monthly output value of more than 500 million yuan. In addition, the second project will begin construction in 2008 and mass production in early 2009, the second phase project will be built first to use cutting-edge industry, hard-IPS screen technology. The end of 2010 only, the two phase project will build a total of 19 large-scale module production line, the design capacity of 40 million per year, on average, annual output value of about $ 7,000,000,000, will become the world’s largest large LCD display module factory.
Skyworth has attracted such famous settled
According to reports, expected in the next few years, the project will be full of radiation upstream of semiconductors, integrated circuits, background light, bonding technology industry and downstream of the mobile phones, computers, LCD TV manufacturing industry, and promote the relevant electronic, mechanical, chemical and other manufacturing industries in the zone and the surrounding area to form a complete TFT-LCD industrial chain, which would high-tech industry of Guangzhou Pearl River Delta as well as the development and adjustment of industrial structure and promote a significant role in driving.

It is reported that the evening of 7 April 2008, the domestic color TV giant Skyworth Group and South Korea LGDisplay Corporation (LGD) held a press conference to announce joined forces to implement a package of joint projects. Which include equity investment LGD Skyworth LCD module plant in Guangzhou, as well as the establishment of joint investment 50 million yuan display technology research and development company. Skyworth Group also announced that the LCD module plant in Guangzhou in the LGD opposite, the establishment of a large, Skyworth LCD TV plant in order to achieve the full from the module to the whole package.
