What kind of cable do I need?
What cable do I need to watch visualizations from my HP Pavilion dv2000 laptop on my Samsung Series 6 650 LCD TV?
I have learned that both my laptop and tv have HDMI ports so I can watch the visualizations from the laptop on the tv. Now, I need to find out how what kind of cable to use to get the music out of the laptop and through the audio amplifier that is connected to my tv. Any answers out there? Is there one cable that’ll do both so I can use my tv to hear and see visualizations for music from my laptop?
what kind of ports you have on both if you have a hdmi port on your tv and a vga port on your lap top than get a crossover cable hdmi to vga cable some might require a converter box as well as most tvs cant handle the switch from vga-hdmi
