I want to buy a 40 inch LCD TV?

I have plans to buy a 40 inch LCD TV from Samsung or Sony, only. Can you recommend what is the best option and I need PinP well.

The LN40A550 from Samsung is likely to offer you the best bang for the buck. In the 40 "mark, if you can get 120 Hz 1080p and offers in its budget very well. Of course it will not hurt at all. But if you go to 720p 60Hz and is not likely going to be the end of world visual experience. At this size, a normal distance (6 feet +) are not able to perceive much benefit. But if you will be sitting near the TV, you might consider updating in the model and examine the LN40A650. This gives a slightly better image quality in general (However, there is a price differential). Both sets come with PiP the desired configuration.
