Small Lcd Video Monitors
Can i play my PS2 games on my LCD monitor this way?
I would be using one of these, http://cgi.ebay.com.au/VGA-to-TV-Converter-S-Video-RCA-OUT-Cable-Adapter_W0QQitemZ150347398322QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Components?hash=item2301673cb2&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A1|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50 and plugging the vga port into my Samsung 2333SW (1920 *1080) http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/detail/detail.do?group=computersperipherals&type=monitors&subtype=lcd&model_cd=LS23CMZKFV/ZA and the RCA into my PS2′s RCA video cable.
If you reckon this would work, do you think it would display in fullscreen and the screen would change its resolution down to Standard Def? Or do you think it will just be a really small pic or what?

It only depends on the upscan converter you are buying, sadly the link is dead.
If the converter displays 640×480 it will be stretched to maximum on your monitor, if it’s a wide screen you will have open areas on both sides or a full stretched screen, but you can select in the monitor menu, which one you want to have.
Make sure the converter has a progressive scan, this is much better quality.
