how can i stop the series 5 LCD TV menu coming up every two minutes?
I recently bought a new Series 5 LCD TV and its been working fine apart from a menu that comes up every two minutes along the bottom of the screen and along the left side, its as if it was originally on show in a shop and they’ve forgotten to change the settings. it just shows me the icons for DVB, free view and others also advertising samsung crystal, energy efficient and all share.
I’ve read the user manual but there’s nothing about how to stop it. If anyone could help me with this i’d be much appreciated,

It sounds like you need to reset the TV back to factory settings. Check the Menu > Setup screen to see if it mentions anywhere about factory reset.
