Lcd Banding Issues
Dell Ultrasharp 2007wfp Resolution Issues?
I just bought a Dell Ultrasharp 2007wfp today (20.1″ monitor), and the resolution on videos actually looks worse than on my original monitor.
Pixels are quite visible at times & there are severe color banding issues. My original monitor wasn’t a high-end monitor, but still videos looked flawless & were surprisingly crystal clear.
But I needed a bigger monitor, and never imagined a high-end $400 Dell LCD monitor would be worse than my original. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what i should do? Is it just a bad model??
If so, what would be the best 20″ or 24″ monitor to buy, for watching high-definition mpeg-4 movies on my pc?
what do you have your monitor resolution set to? if it’s not on it’s native resolution (the highest resolution that your monitor can be set to) then it will look ugly. try setting your resolution higher.
right click on your desktop, properties, then settings.
