How do I get the colour and brightness on my LCD monitor right?
I’ve just bought a new LCD monitor and put it alongside my existing LCD monitor. The picture on them both looks good, but somehow I prefer the colours on my older monitor. The display is slightly darker, the colours seem richer. It doesn’t have many set up options, this is just what it looked like when I first got it.
The new monitor has lots of settings though – it’s got some preset modes and lots of options to change. I could be here all day messing around with the two monitors to get them to look the same!
So how do I even know that the colour and brightness are correct?
Are there any websites out there with, say, colour scales on them that I can adjust my monitor to? I’m sure I’ve used something similar before…
You just gota mess around with your new one till you get it right, adjust the brightness and contrast. See if that helps
