Display Resolution Problem!!!?
I just bought a 22 inch LCD with a native resolution of 1680×1050, however I just realized that my laptop obly supports up to 1280×800 resolution. I have not hooked it up yet and want to know how the picture will look. Will the picture look badly because of this, should I return the monitor?

It will not look bad it will just have about 2in black spaces on both sides of the actual display. You video card in the laptop does not support that big of monitor. I will go to the max and but it will have around 2in lines on both sides like a regular movie playing on a widescreen TV..I just picked up a Samsung 245BW and its 1920*1200 and lucky my video card thats the max it will do…Got it for a great deal $300 from Samsung website sale….Thanks
